Our custom made housings are aluminum designed to last longer than steel and are vented all the way around, unlike the imitations Our circuit boards are built specifically for us utilizing zener diodes so that if one LED fails the rest will continue lighting. We have balanced the optics and LED matrix perfectly for spread and penetration balance.

We utilize 3W Bridgelux LED and run them at about 2W. The moonlights also 3W LED but are run at 1W each.

We utilize several different LED in our lights, 403NM, 453 NM blues and a blend of warm, neutral and cool whites.
This is a compact and absolutely beautiful light to illuminate and excite your corals! [clear] Running at approximately 120 W for the LED, these units are a direct replacement for 250W – 400W MH with so many obvious benefits. What we can tell you is the balance of spread and PAR from these lights is outstanding and more importantly the PUR ( photosynthetic USABLE radiation) is right on the money. High PAR does not mean the wavelengths that the LED are emitting are right for your corals (PUR) to produce food from the light and not only grow but color the way they should.

For all of our fixtures we now have a new circuit board and spread the LED out even more utilizing that outrageous PAR we experienced in our pre Production model in our demo comparing AI SOL to our dimable. The front window has been made larger to utilize this new spread. What we have now is a a fixture that can easily cover a 30″ long tank and have PAR to spare!
